This week we ran the workshop "Reprogramming the Platform" together with Donato Ricci at the University of Aveiro. The workshop examines the aesthetics of the sharing economy through critical analytics. The students looked at how the sharing economy is reshaping the city of Porto and the cultural homogenization accelerated by Airbnb. During the workshop students combined quantitative and AI-driven process to analyse data with qualitative and analog approaches.
