Luoghi di Culto: Four Contemporary Cults, Mapped

"Luoghi di Culto" ("Places of Cult") is a series of editorial research projects developed during a four-day Data Visualization workshop with students from the advanced Graphic Design course. Four catalogues explore, through data and images gathered from various online sources, the spaces, architectures, rituals, and communities behind four "cults" chosen by the students: football, the Church, clubbing, and UFOs. Satellite imagery, Google Street View captures, user-generated content, and data collected from Wikidata were analyzed and reorganized into editorial projects that offer a fresh perspective on the sites of these contemporary cults.
