Where do the storks go?

A few snapshots from the workshop we recently held at the University of Aveiro with Donato Ricci, for his course "Representação e Conhecimento." Over five days, we worked with 35 design students to explore observation data from iNaturalist and GPS tracks of white storks (Ciconia ciconia). We combined different tools and techniques to investigate how storks move, and how their movement intersects with human activity and infrastructure.
