Some images from the digital projects created by students of the master's course in Interaction Design at UNIRSM, during a workshop we had the pleasure of curating together with Marco Luitprandi, with the valuable support of Davide Giorgetta. Working in groups, students tackled three complex themes tied to climate change and how human activity is reshaping the places they live: the fragile balance of the Po River and the salt-wedge intrusion caused by drought; changes to the Adriatic ecosystem driven by warming seas, human activity, and the resulting arrival of non-native species; and air pollution in Bologna, and how climate change will affect the buildup of fine particulate matter. During the data visualization module, students were introduced to methods and technologies for sourcing, analyzing, visualizing, and narrating data through a hands-on, workshop-based approach. Thanks to all the students for their enthusiasm, and to everyone we invited to share their experience during the workshop.
