During the collaboration with the Digital Benin team, we have built a set of tools to manage, enrich and visualise data about cultural artefacts.
Some of these tools will soon be released for other projects working in similar contexts and with similar data.
Today, Dr. Felicity Bodenstein presents one of them at Future of Digital Provenance Research – Dreams and Realities in Magdeburg: Loupe.
Loupe is a tool for creating, managing and visualising provenance data. Researchers can record each step in an object's history in a structured way: owners, places, dates, transactions and the sources behind them. We're also pleased to announce that an open-source version of Loupe will be released this autumn. It will be available for researchers and practitioners in digital provenance research.
Feel free to get in touch with us o know more about it and be the first to know when it will be released.
